Honey Mustard Dressing II

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
This was wonderful and easy. Perfect on a breaded chicken salad. Yummy!! I will never buy honey mustard again.

Sweet and Sour Drumettes

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2010
This was easy and excellent. The sauce was perfect over rice and even my picky 5 year old said "Mom, I really like this chicken". I'll try the sauce again, maybe with wings, or thighs even. Very yummy!

Greek Orzo and Broccoli

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
This was outstanding. Made it as a side dish for a Greek Christmas dinner, but would make again as a main course. Flavourful, cheesey and wonderful. Didn't make any changes and it doesn't need any! Baked up leftovers with more cheese for lunch.

Greek Traditional Turkey with Chestnut and Pine Nut Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
This was really wonderful. The stuffing was excellent. The turkey, to me, was just like any other turkey, but adding the chestnut stuffing made this a definite 4 out of 5. Yum

Simple Tuna Melt

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
I thought these were really tasty. I added chopped celery and red pepper because I just prefer that to dill pickle, but the addition of balsamic vinegar gave it a really nice flavour. I toasted the bread about half way in the toaster and then covered each piece with tuna and shredded cheese, popped it in the oven, and then had it as an open face. Yummy and easy!

Pumpkin Cookies VI

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2010
These are okay. They definitely need more cooking time (I did mine 18 minutes and they still were kind of "pumpkin pie" like in the centre") The kids like them, which is the only reason it gets 3 stars. I would have given it 1 myself.

Whipped Shortbread Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
These are some of the easiest and best tasting shortbread! I did as some suggested and whipped the butter on it's own first, then added the sugar and whipped that, and then added the flour 1/2 a cup at a time, and whipped after each addition. Then whipped the final mix for about 5 more minutes. I baked them at 325 for about 10 minutes and they came out so amazing I'm wishing I had made a double batch. Yum!!

Blueberry Crisp II

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
This was super easy to make, but I did find the "crumble" on the top was a little more like a cobbler than like a crisp. The taste, however, was excellent, and I will make this again. Probably using brown sugar instead.

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2009
My husband absolutely loves this dish. I omit the ginger but it doesn't make a difference, it is fantastic. Easy and quick to make, this is a permanent dish in my recipe box.

Almond Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2007
My husband loved this dish. I used Peach Jam instead of Orange Marmalade (just a personal preference) and used less oil as other suggested, and it turned out fabulous. It goes great with rice! (The prep is a little time consuming, but I think it's totally worth it.)
