Turkey Goulash

Added basil, oregano, onion and green bell pepper - cooked the pasta in the sauce (adding another 2 cans of water) - turned out great!

WOW - this makes awesome Alfredo sauce! I did make a few minor adjustments. 1) Remove shrimp when cooked through, then complete the sauce, adding shrimp back just before serving. 2) Used heavy whipped cream, as I had it on hand. 3) Added Parmesan to the sauce as it cooked (probably 1/2 cup). My hubby loved it too, and we have decided we're never buying Alfredo sauce again - this was easy and delicious!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

DELICIOUS! I followed reviewer Ginger's advice and went with a 4lb Pork Butt instead of ribs. Cooked with broth for 8 hours on low in the crock pot, removed and shredded, drained the broth and replaced the meat then dumped a bottle of barbecue sauce on top and continued cooking on low until dinner time (about 2 more hours). I didn't start the meat the night before as Ginger had suggested, but it still turned out awesome, tender and delicious!

Autumn Pork Chops

Substituted milk for the apple juice/water. My husband was a HUGE fan of this recipe. Told me this should replace my regular pork chop recipe - and even went back for more sauce to eat over his California blend veggies. There is a similar recipe listed from Campbell's Kitchen, that omits the apple juice/water and spicy brown mustard - I'm glad I went with this one instead.

Pistachio Cake III

Used one of the customized versions in the reviews (with cake mix, pudding mix, eggs and sour cream only). Turned out very fluffy, almost like a sponge cake. Served it as a dinosaur cake (carved and decorated) for my son's birthday and got a lot of MMM's.

Marmite Mince

I couldn't stand Vegemite alone on toast, but my husband loves it so I thought I'd see if there was another way to eat it that would suit both of our tastes. With this recipe, I'd eat the stuff regularly. My husband and I LOVED this - we served it with mashed potatoes and sweet peas, and mixed everything together a bit on our plates. Wish I'd have thought to make bread to go with it - a crunchy French bread would have been fantastic.

I LOVED these, though my husband wasn't too impressed with them. Made them with pot liquor greens and corn bread, then the next night I poured the remainder of the sauce over pasta - MMMM :9

Perfect Baked Jerk Chicken

Wow - this was GOOD! I didn't have time to marinate the meat in the rub mixture, but even just five minutes of sitting worked out fine. We ate this with fried plantains and refried black beans, with rum and pineapple juice to drink :)

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Holy Cow! This was fantastic! Added fresh green beans, and used chicken broth in place of water/granules. Will definitely be making this one again. Perfect on a cold winter day!

Swiss Cheese 'n' Onion Quiche

Have made this as-is, and thought it was pretty tasty. This go-'round I split the recipe between two deep-dish pie shells (doubling only the egg-cheese-salt mixture), used sweet onions (vidalia), and added spinach. Great as a base-recipe, or word-for-word.
