Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
This is the first time I have ever made fudge and this recipe worked beautifully. The fudge turned out FANTASTIC! If you're a first time fudge maker, TRY THIS RECIPE! I did use generic Marshmallow Fluff (if you live in Maryland and care to know, I used Weis supermarket brand) and I used Giant brand flour and it still turned out wonderful and NOT GREASY. I did follow the advice of other reviewers and let the mixture boil over five minutes (it was probably more like seven minutes). I did have some of the mixture stick to the pot, but I think this was because I didn't stir it at the beginning- so stir, stir, stir! Also, Attilaskitchen is right- measure ALL of the dry ingredients ahead of time, it makes it SO much easier and the chocolate melts right away so it's faster too. Hope this helps!

Deep Dish Brownies

The best brownie recipe EVER! I have tried the others but these are the best. If you don't like these brownies there's something wrong with you. Martha Stewart be damned!

This chocolate mousse is the simplest and the best I have ever had! My son must request this dessert twice a week. It's so rich and wonderful!

French Baguettes

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2011
I really made this for my stepson who is allergic to milk and eggs (thus I omitted the egg wash in this recipe). It was so good, my stepson turned to me at dinner and said, "Can you make more right now?" I will definitely be making this recipe again. This is the bread recipe you pull out when company is coming for dinner. Excellent, excellent recipe!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
I made this recipe for my family because I couldn't find my original recipe. Well, I'll never need my old recipe again! I only had four peppers so I put the extra stuffing in a separate bowl. My family not only ate their stuffed peppers, but ate the extra stuffing as well. I did not use the canned tomato soup at all and it came out great! I will definitely be making this again!

Day Before Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
They were easy to make but I was sort of disappointed. I was glad to be able to make them ahead of time 9for Thanksgiving) but I was also glad there were other dishes on the table for people to eat. Unbelievably, they came out somewhat dry and I ended up adding lots of whole milk to them to make them less dense.

Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
I made this two days ahead of time and refrigerated the topping separately. Everyone asked me for the recipe and everyone wanted to take some home. I didn't have any leftovers for my family! Wonderful, excellent recipe!

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
First, these are the easiest biscuits I have ever made. No rolling or cutting them out, just plop them on the pan and bake. I made them for Thanksgiving and they were wonderful. Actually, I made them the night before and my husband and I ate so many, they almost didn't make it to Thanksgiving!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2009
I absolutely LOVE this recipe. I love it so much that I will be making it again for Thanksgiving. This is a great recipe for a non-cook- it's easy and fast. The hardest part is peeling and coring the apples. I did not have an issue with the water at all, if anything I think I might have added MORE water, not less. My local paper published an apple crisp recipe from a famous restaurant (so famous that I can't think of the name of it!) that was much, much more complicated than this one, and I got mediocre results from it. If you make one Apple Crisp recipe MAKE THIS ONE!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
I made this recipe back in March for all of my brother's friends and they are STILL talking about it. I am not usually a lasagne person but this is truly the best. I, like many others, made this a day ahead of time and I was so glad. The lasagne takes a while to put together (but this could also be because it was my first time making it) but, on the day of the dinner, I just reheated it in the oven for 30 minutes. I also did NOT boil the noodles, but put them in a pan over hot water and they turned out great. I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this dish to anyone with taste buds.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

My husband and I are trying to eat healthier and thought we'd try this recipe. He doesn't really like turkey but, since they're low cal, I thought we'd try it. WOW! These are excellent! They are honestly, actually, and fabulously delicious.
