Buttermilk Biscuits
Don't roll out the dough for tender biscuits - just gently pat the dough down to the thickness you would like it, and then cut without twisting so the biscuits will rise to their potential. I used butter instead of shortening - the biscuits were okay - but I'd like a little more tang of the buttermilk.

Baked Dijon Salmon
I used Cornflake crumbs instead of bread crumbs and added some cayenne pepper to the topping. Delish!

Lemon-Maple Butternut Squash
This is the perfect, not to sweet butternut squash recipe. It's light, and the lemon flavor is a perfect match. My mother always made our Thanksgiving squash casserole so sweet- with marshmallows and all that, and I was never a big fan. So I volunteered to make the squash this year and used this recipe. Everyone raved about it!
