I actually cooked these in the slow cooker on low for about 6 hours. I added an entire bottle of bbq sauce also. They were very good and easy to make.

This was very good. Made with leftover turkey from Thanksgiving. Cannot use mushrooms because of allergies, but still this was very yummy. Will make again.

Spanish Rice Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
Wow, this was great! Used wild rice instead of white. Added 1/4 cup more water because of the wild rice. Also added one small can of tomatoes w/chiles for flavor. Was quite easy to make and had fantastic taste!

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
This was a HUGE hit with my family. Served it for Christmas dinner. Dbled the shredded cheeses only and also used 2 cups of half n half. Did not add the eggs just because I have never made Mac n Cheese with eggs. Was very creamy and tasty. The leftovers were just as good. Heated them with a little milk and butter.

Berry Oatmeal Muffins

These were very good. Served them at a brunch on Christmas Eve day. Did not have wheat germ - subbed ground flax seed. Worked beautifully. Will make again.

Tasty Baked Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
I only had 1 pound of hamburger, so I cut everything by thirds. Very moist and tasty meatballs. So many times meatballs are dry and these were not. YUM!

Brownies with Peanut Butter Fudge Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
Oh my gosh are these awesome! I ended up making a 2nd batch because the 1st one was gone quite quickly. I did cut the frosting by about a third on my 2nd batch because it was a bit much on the 1st batch. Very good though, just a little too much.

This is quite delicious! Did not use mushrooms because of allergy. Used Turkey sausage and pepperoni for healthier dish. Also used Pizza sauce instead of Tomato sauce. YUM!

Ooooh, this is very very good. It has a 'bite' to it, but not too bad. I brought it to a book club and the ladies loved it.

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
So this roast has very good taste. It is also very easy. I did use some minced garlic on it. Also, I skipped the salt and used Mrs. Dash's Garlic and Onion and Herb seasoning. I do have to say that I had a 6 lb roast and 4 hours was not long enough. It was rare in the middle, medium rare on the outside. I wish the instructions would have had a little better cooking times for different sized roasts. We cut our and then put 6 pieces at a time back into the oven in a glass dish for about 15 minutes. Kinda messed up my Easter dinner, though. Will make again, but will adjust cooking times.

Asian Lettuce Wraps

This was very tasty and EASY! I could not find Asain Chili pepper sauce, so mine was not spicy. I am on the hunt for it, though. My family would like to eat this often!

Appetizer Cheese Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
Oh my gosh, is this yummy! I doubled the recipe for a potluck for a women's bowling league that I belong to. Women all night long were asking me to write down the recipe, which is so easy, that I did. Pretty much the dish was licked clean. I didn't even have a spoon-ful to share with my family!

Slow Cooker Apple Crisp

Reviewed: May 1, 2010
Wow, loved this. Served it to 7 ladies for a book club and they gobbled it up. Ice Cream is the best match for this! I used 12 Granny Smith apples. Cooked for 1 hour on high, 2 hours on low. Covered top of crisp with oats, maybe 1/4 inch deep, then turned the lid on my crockpot and cooked for 1.5 hours. The top was perfectly crispy!
