Chocolate Zucchini Bread II

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2012
Very easy recipe and wonderful taste. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the bread is a little dry. I only baked it for 50 min, too.

Peach Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2012
Wow, these are truly amazing. I did follow others advice and added 2 tsp of vanilla, added 1 tsp of b. soda and powder, 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1 1/2 cups of white sugar, 1/4 cup of milk. I also used 2 1/2 cups of peaches. My peaches were off our tree and they were quite juicy, but I still needed 1/4 cup milk. They are truly wonderful muffins. A keeper for sure for us. ***made these for a 2nd week in a row. Again, amazing! I had so much batter I was able to make 12 regular muffins and 6 large muffins.

Grilled Garlic Parmesan Zucchini

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2012
Oh wow, this is very good. Not sure if it's healthy after adding the butter and cheese but it's delicious. I mixed my 3 tbsp butter with the garlic and some onion powder along with regular parmesan (didn't have fresh). Cut both sides of Zucc's so would lie flat. Scored one side. Started with scored side down and grilled (med heat) for about 8 minutes. Turned them over and grilled for about 4 minutes. Then slowly removed each one and added my butter mixture. Cooked for about 3 minutes then added a small slice of swiss cheese on top of each. Cooked for another 3 minutes and removed from heat. Family loved these. My son asked that I cook Zucchini like this every time!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2012
Wonderful banana bread. I halved this recipe but now I'm wishing I would have made all 4 loaves. Very moist. Made it exactly how it was suggested.

Passion Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2012
Thsee bars are good, but not excellent. There are just too many bar recipes with oatmeal in them that are for sure 5 star recipes. My family also liked them and they will get eaten.

Eileen's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2012
This is a very easy and yummy meatloaf. I did use 1/2 cup sour cream and 1/4 cup ranch dressing. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is there are several other meatloaf recipes on this site that are truly delicious.

Chili Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2012
These burgers are wonderful. So juicy and full of flavor. I used turkey sausage to cut down on some fat, but everyone loved them and asked for the recipe. I did use 1/2 cup chili sauce and 1 tsp of garlic and onion powder along with pepper.

Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2012
Oh this is so yummy. I divided mine into two 8 inch square pans for 2 parties I had to attend in one weekend. My grandma made this when I was little and I loved it, but she made it using Raspberries and Raspberry jello. YUM! To mix it up sometimes she used a can of crushed pineapple ALSO. So, I decided to make this using raspberries and crushed pineapple. Well, I ran out at both parties and people were asking for more! You need to chill the cream cheese layer for about 40 minutes. Also chill the jello before adding fruit for about 40 minutes, then add friut, then pour over chilled cream cheese layer.

Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: May 20, 2012
This is very, very good. And almost too easy. I did use 1/2 cup of regular mustard and 1/2 cup of a honey mustard dipping sauce. Also I took advice of from a couple other reviews and marinated the chicken in the mustard for about an hour before baking. I cut my chicken breasts into 2, so only had to bake for 40 minutes.

Cheesy Chili Dip I

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2012
Would have given this 5 stars if I didn't have to add cheddar cheese to thicken. As some of the other reviews have said, this is quite a thin dip. I added 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese to thicken. Took to a book club and everyone loved it. Some ladies poured the dip over chips and ate them as nachos. Very easy and great flavor.

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2012
This recipe is very easy and the taste is wonderful. They bake up so nicely - do not spread hardly at all, so you can fit alot of cookies on a baking sheet. I dropped by tablespoons and took 12 minutes to bake.

Best Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2012
This was very easy and tasty. The celery salt was a bit too strong for us. Will just lower that next time. I did leave the chicken in the sour cream mixture for 20 minutes before rolling in bread crumbs.

Oh this was very very good. I didn't have beef broth though, but I did have a beef gravy. So I made it with that. YUM!

Oatmeal Waffles

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
I would have given this recipe 5 stars if I didn't have to altar it at all. The taste was superb though! I added 2 tsp of vanilla, sorry, I have have to have vanilla in waffles and the mix was far too thick. I added another 1/2 cup of milk and they cooked up nicely. I used whole wheat white flour also.

One Pot Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2012
Only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is because I made adjustments. I added 1/4 cup mayonaise and 1/4 cup sour cream to this. Upped the milk to 1/2 cup. Also added a can of corn. Baked for 40 minutes in at 350 degrees. Very, very good.

Luck o' the Irish Brownie

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2012
Oh wow, are these to die for. Very sweet, so don't need a big piece to be satisfied. I followed the recipe exactly. The key to the first two layer is the cooling. Make sure they are cold before adding the 2nd and 3rd layer. Didn't have any problems using microwave to melt the 3rd and final layer. Spread very well onto cold mint layer. YUM!!

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
This is a very good recipe and not very hard to put together. To save time I used a pre-cooked chicken from the store. I did add a little extra enchilada sauce.
