White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2007
Delicious basic cookie recipe! I did it with white chocolate and drained and chopped maraschino cherries instead of the macadamias. Oh my, so yummy. Perfect!! My girls loved it and so did my husband.

Scottish Shortbread I

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
Very yummy.. Melting in mouth and so delicate... I would add a little bit more flour and sugar. I can't wait to try this dipped in chocolate and I also plan on making these savory.

Very good. My husband and I really liked it. I used Madeira wine instead... all I had in hand.

Amaretti

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007
It turned ok, a little too sweet, but the taste was good. It was a little too heavy/dense, as well. I wish it was a little lighter. 20 minutes is plenty baking time for these. Even with these cons my husband and I can't stop eating these cookies.

Easiest Pot Roast Ever

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
Great recipe!! My husband loved and so did I. I used 2 cubes, 1 packaged dry onion soup, potatoes, carrots and onions. I put about 1-1/12 cups of water. The meat was melting and it felt I was cutting butter. I wasn't even able to get it out of the crockpot to cut because it was falling apart. Perfect. Thank you so much!!

Wonderful Banana Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2007
Very yummy! I used 1 whole egg and 2 whites, plus applesauce to make the cake. I added cinnamon, a handful of chocolate chips and 1tbsp of Nesquik to the mashed bananas (used 2 1/2 - what I had). It came out great and moist. Baked on preheated 350F for 35-40 min.

Baked Brie in Puff Pastry

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2006
Delicious!! Just did it for Christmas eve and everyone loved it. I used ready to bake crescents and used apricot preserves instead of almonds. I also froze it before baking. It came out perfectly!
