Ros's Healthy & Easy Meat Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2012
Great recipe and the family loved how little fat (really only the oil used for the onion/garlic and what's in the cheese). I followed all the quantities "as is" and it worked fine without more sauce although when making next time I'll probably make a half again of the ricotta mixture to allow another layer of noodles. Other change was I didn't have any sausage but the sauce needed "something" so I added some turkey pepperoni - perfect addition and kept the overall lasagne nice and tasty but not fatty. This recipe would also be fantastic with turkey mince instead of beef.

Chef John's Crab Cakes

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2012
Fantastic and easy. Needed to add a touch flour to keep mixture together but awesome. Furst ever time making crab cakes too. I made 5 times quantity in slightly smaller size for July 4 and it was a huge success served with tartar sauce and lemon wedges. Two platters literally disappeared.

Basic Crepes

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Great recipe and worked a dream. We had friends for brunch so made a mixture of savory and sweet - all a success. Followed suggestions of mixing wet ingredients first and then sifting in dry as well as more liquid (1/3 - 1/2 cup extra milk/water).
