This cake was super moist and beautiful without any alteration to the recipe. However, to make it extra special, I made a chocolate glaze icing to pour over it. I made it with one bag of Hersheys
Special Dark Chocolate lightly sweetened chocolate chips, melted with half a stick of butter and about half a cup of clear Caro corn syrup. Melt it all together over medium heat until all the chips are melted. Pour this overtop this already wonderfully moist and delicious cake and you will have a chocolate explosion! A holiday favorite at our house and suitable for any time of year.
