Fluffy French Toast

YUM! I used my favorite bread from the recipe "Simply White Bread II" to make this and it turned out AMAZING! The only thing that I would change about this recipe is to DOUBLE it because everyone wanted more.

Simply White Bread II

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2012
Wow! I did not change a thing and just followed the recipe. The bread came out so soft and yummy with a nice hard crust. I have to admit that I ate a slice just by itself with nothing on it! Will not be searching any further for a white bread recipe. The others do not even compare. And I LOVE the fact that this uses honey as opposed to sugar.

Very tender and quick. My 2 year old and 6 year old boys cleared their plates which rarely happens. My husband also really enjoyed it. Thanks!

Broccoli and Noodles Supreme

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2009
I was out of butter and eggs so I used the ingredient finder to look up a side for my chicken last minute. My 3 year old really liked it. I thought it was good but not something I will crave on a regular basis. My husband was not a fan at all.

Baked Ziti II

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2009
I followed this recipe except I added some powdered garlic to the cheese mixture for flavor. I am not a big fan of very "saucy" ziti so the amount of sauce was perfect for me. I will cut back on the ricotta cheese next time though. It was a little bit too much for my personal taste. But the recipe was great and we will make it again. Nice serving size for a dinner party!

WOW!!Even with my running low on butter and using half Country Crock...this recipe was just AMAZING. Definitely restaurant quality. My husband is garlic obsessed so I did add a little more but this recipe is just amazing as is.

Apple Butter Pork Loin

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
WOW!!! I cooked this in my crockpot as others suggested and it just fell apart as I was serving it. I used two 1.5lb tenderlions for a total of 3 pounds of meat. I also used 1 cup apple juice and 1 cup apple cider which gave it a bit more flavor. I thre in some apples as well. Once finished,I quickly mixed some of the the juices with additional apple butter and heated over the stove to spoon on top as a sauce/gravy. My 3 year old CLEARED his plate and my husband loved it as well. Will be making this often! We have a whole tenderlion leftover for tomorrow.

Ambrosia Salad

THE BEST. This is the way my family has always made it. I prefer it to the cool whip kind. I also cannot stand recipes that add grapes of fruit cocktail. This recipe is perfect as is. YUM!

Cathy's Banana Bread

This is my husband's favorite recipe. The sour cream gives it a nice kick. Sometimes we add nuts as well if we have some leftover from other recipes. Always moist and is even good frozen and rethawed at a later time.

Chicken Casserole Mississippi

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2007
This was a nice comfort food. It was a bit bland and had too much onion for my taste. Next time I will cut back on onion and use more spices and sour cream. I DID however use lowfat everything so that could have to do with the blandness. Will make again though. My 18 month old cleared his tray!
