I am a wife, mother of 3, and a HR professional.I love food. Although my appetite is not huge, I love to experiment in the kitchen. When I am not trying new recipes, I am sitting on the sofa reading cookbooks or my food magazines, watching the Food Network, or surfing AllRecipes.com and other food related sites. I guess you can say that food preparation is my hobby! I just like to cook. I will try anything. On special occasions, each family member picks out of a hat, one of the following categories: Appetizer, Side Dish, Entree, Bread, and Dessert. Once they have drawn their dish, they tell me what they want to have and then we cook together. It is a lot of fun. Anytime I try something a new recipe, and my picky daughters actually eat it and request more! My first vegetable soup attempt - 10+ years ago. It looked and tasted like water with vegetables floating in it.
