Easy Pizza Sauce III

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2006
Decided to try this tonight. I just got a bread machine for Christmas...and I've been baking bread all day! Since this is the first day I've had available to sit around the house and bake...i've had so much fun! I also added 1/2 tsp of basil, 1/2 tsp of sugar, and a 1/2 a tsp of onion powder. This added a lot of extra flavor!

Pizza Crust for the Bread Machine II

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2007
This was exceptional! The only difference I made was to use bread machine bread..and used the whole 3 cups of that.. I didn't have the other flour..and from what I've seen its a little pricey.. We oiled the pizza pan with olive oil and sprinkeld it with corn meal before putting the dough on it. The dough was easy to work with! After the rise cycle I took the dough out and broke it in two.. flour the surface of the counter and rolled it out.. the patted it into the pan. The only recommendation I would offer is to pre cook the dough for atleast 5 minutes in the oven before adding the sauce and toppings. While waiting for the dough to brown ( I like mine more crispy than doughy) I burnt a little bit of the cheese. Of course the pizza stone heats up more evenly and prevents this from happening! I'll have to try it on the stone next time. A+ on this recipe! We will definitally be using this again :-)

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2007
This bread is delicous! It was the first bread recipe I tried in the bread machine that I got for Christmas! It came out exactly as described! Flaky crust and chewy, moist center. The only recommendation I have to make is to use an electric knife when slicing.. Or take the advice of the other rates and lower the amount of yeast..Its hard to cut without breaking it apart. But we used the electric knife and it turned out so pretty! Just like store bought :) I'll use this again.

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2008
VERY good chicken! I did modify it a bit..but the base idea I think was very good. I used 3 chicken breast. (Note that it will most definitally cook in less time if you use tenderloins because they are thinner pieces of chicken) I put buttery crackers into my kitchen aid chopped and chopped it fine.I then added the ingredients called for but also added cayenne pepper powder, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, basil, paprika, and parmesian cheese.. I just did a few shakes of each. I then used 2 eggs beaten with a couple drops of milk...breaded my chicken and arranged in the pan. Now, I only used 2 tablespoons of stick butter cut into thin slices and arranged around and on top of the pan.. to make it lighter but still have the butter flavor. I cooked for 20 minutes on each side. Was very moist wihtout being over done and definitally a keeper!

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2008
VERY DELICIOUS! Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature so it doesn't become lumpy. I followed the recipe to a T except that I added the whole tub of cool whip in on accident and I'm actually glad I did. BEWARE that the whole mixture will be thin and soupy.. I was VERY conserned that it wasn't going to turn out..but I put it into the fridge and it set up beautifully! I had great compliments and I know I'll be making this again!

Quick and Easy Chicken Spaghetti

Reviewed: May 14, 2008
I made this with whole grain penne pasta because that's all I had.. but it turned out FANTASTIC. We all loved it. I can't wait to try it with spaghetti noodles. We all loved how it had a spicy bite. (maybe that was the rotel I used.) But it's a new favorite. There are 3 of us here and I had to freeze half of it because there was so much. Definitally love cheap, delicious, and easy meals! A new favorite!!

Molten Chocolate Cakes

Reviewed: May 14, 2008
I made this as a suprise for my girlfriend and her daughter for dessert. I halfed the recipe and it turned out perfectly! I made it ahead of time and stuck in the fridge for a few hours..and took it out to set for an hour before baking. Mine took exactly 13 minutes. I also greased the pans with crisco and didn't have any problem with them popping out. Dusted with powdered sugar and it was a winner!
