Best Brownies
Turned out perfectly. I have made twice so far. I never made the frosting, they simply don't need it. Are very moist and fudgy, and come out of the pan perfectly without sticking. I added chocolate chips on top of batter before baking for a little extra interest.

Carrot Bread II
I love making recipes a bit healthier for my children. They absolutely loved this bread. I substituted whole wheat flour for the regular flour. I also used fresh carrots (1 1/2 cups) finly minced in food processer. In regard to the vegetable oil I used only 1/3 cup olive oil) and then added 1/3 cup plain organic yogurt. Instead of white sugar I used an equal amount of brown sugar. I added slightly more of a heaping teaspoon of cinnamon because we love cinnamon. The recipe came out great, the kids (age 10,8 and 5) wolfed it down. Now my kids do tend to like less sweet type things and this bread fits that bill. It is not overly sweet at all,which I like. The texture with all of my changes was perfect,one of the best breads I have made. I baked it for about 55 minutes.

Pumpkin Spice Muffins
The real test was whether my three kids, ages 10,8 and 5 would like. They LOVED them. Funny they commented' gee these aren't sweet but are still reallly good'! The whole reason I made them was to get my very picky 8 year old to get more fruits/veggies and protein. I figured the pumpkin, applesauce and egg and low sugar made it a great choice. Well, she loved it so much begged for a second one after dinner. I hadn't even tried them at that point so decided lets what these taste like. I thought they were great too. I don't like overly sweet things and normally don't even eat muffins, but these I would eat. The only modification I made was adding a pinch of cloves to it. This recipe is definitely a keeper.
