World's Best Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2012
Great consistency and salad stays moist but definitely too sweet (and I usually prefer my drsg. sweet) I will make this again but reduce sugar to 1/4 cup. Plus the amt. of drsg. was more than enough. It could easily cover 3 lbs. of potatoes.

Butterscotch Blondies

Followed directions to the tee. I can't help but think the bars would've been better if crust only baked for HALF the amt. of time. The bottom was just too hard

Blueberry Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
Delish. Every1 loved it. Used Splenda in the batter and like others, I'd suggest softening the cream cheese and add to batter (too messy trying to cube it). Also, be sure butter in crumb topping is COLD for an easier 'crumbling'.

Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce

Reviewed: May 8, 2011
Very good, very easy. I let mine simmer for over 2 hrs, only to allow tomato chunks to break down. (Wish I had pureed them first as others suggested) I thought the sweetness was just right and family agreed. Served over frozen breaded veal patties w/ spaghetti.

Greek Pasta Salad

VERY good. All flavors blended well, longer it sat, better it got.Used the lo carb (Dreamfields)pente, so it was a fairly lo calorie salad. Our company all liked it.

Felix K.'s 'Don't even try to say these aren't the best you've ever eaten, because they are' Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 16, 2009
Recipe converts well to a 'reduced sugar' treat. I used Splenda brown sugar, Splenda white sugar, Hersheys SF chips and halved the recipe. Nice soft, chewy consistency, mega-sized. But, they were REALLY sweet (I had 'firmly' packed the brown sugar but will cut back on next batch.)

Red Cabbage and Apples

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2008
The combo of ingredients kinda turned me off, but all I can say is...YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY IT! Some simple changes-didn't peel apples, omitted the oil (presteamed cabbage in micro. as someone suggested), and sub'd sugar w/Splenda. Whatta nice change and beautiful color! Entire family enjoyed it.

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2008
Converts sooo deliciously into a sugar-free treat, using Splenda 'n Smuckers SF strawberry jam. Used egg yolk in cheese mixture and the egg white brushed on top, instead of butter.Hubby thought it was better than Entemann's. Plus, it's so rich, even a small portion is filling! Thanx so much for recipe.

Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2008
Not only simple, but recipe converts well to a low sugar treat. I started out just making half the recipe (splenda too expensive to waste) I sub'd Splenda for sugar, plus 1/4 tsp.salt and baking soda,1 egg white as others suggested. Well,it certainly did not go to waste..I'm waiting on my 2nd batch as I type-FULL recipe this time. Delicious

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
If 10 stars was an option, this recipe would get them! The best we've ever had, including the best of italian restaurants! So smooth, creamy and flavorful- even SMELLS delicious.I used lite butter, lite cream cheese and cut back on the milk just a tad as we like really thick sauce. I passed this on to every cook I know. Thanx so much for this oh-so-ez recipe.

A definite keeper! Reduced recipe to half which made one 4x7 loaf and 6 good sized muffins I made these originally for a bake sale, but they never made it out of my kitchen!Deliciously moist, very flavorful (I really loaded in the cinnamon til you could REALLY smell it.) I guess I'll just donate money to the bake sale!

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2008
This is a good basic meatloaf recipe as served up in a school cafeteria, but just way too bland for us, plus we couldnt even taste the cheese! However, the consistency was good.I'm just so sorry I doubled the recipe. As others have said...a meatloaf w/out onions?...what was I thinking?

Baked Corn I

A real crowd pleaser! I also reduced butter in half, and used 8x8 pan. If folks wonder about its consistency, it's just like a moist turkey stuffing. Was a great sidedish with baked ham, green beans/bacon/onions.
