My first hobby is cabinet makeing. When we moved into a house that had no basement and a very small garage, I needed a new hobbie. I love food so I decided to make cooking my new hobby. One night my daughter was over to the house and she saw a stack of cook books on my night table next to my bed.She laughed and called me johnnycrocker. So that is how I got my nickname. I do all the cooking for my wife and me, and sometimes for my father who lives with us. I also love to bake. I have a glass cake dish with a lid that I try to always have muffins,brownies,lemon bars, or any kind of fresh baked goodies in it. My favorite TV station is the foodnetwork. Right now I am trying to find a good bisquit recipe and a good corn bread recipe. I also love cooking for family get togethers. They are a lot of work but very satisfying. I look forward every day to cooking and bakeing. I love Butter Cookies, Most Muffins, Brownies, Any Pie with a Butter Crust, Banana Bread, Pumpkin Bread. My other favorite Mini Chocolate Eclairs with Vanilla Filling. Cooking and Bakeing for all the family get togethers. I'm getting better at makeing butter pie crust. I have to read the recipe and sometimes when I'm makeing something for the second or third time I'll skim over the recipe instead of reading it and screw up the incredients.
