Stuffed Zucchini

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2006
This was very good. I followed the advise of some others and used rice instead of the breadcrumbs because I had some rice I needed to get rid of. Didn't brown the meat before hand as some others have done, cooked it until the instant read thermometer read 160. Turned out excellent, I think I actually had to bake it for 1 hour 15 minutes but everyones oven is different, will definitely make again next time I have a zucchini to use up.

Very good, made this for thanksgiving, everyone, including sweet potato haters loved it. Used cream instead of milk but everything else the same. Was a hit, will make again!

Crab Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2001
I made this recipe for Christmas last year and it was a big hit with all of the family. I served it with several different kinds of keebler crackers. Look forward to making it again this year. The only drawback is the expense of the crabmeat. Enjoy!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2001
This recipe is great. The gravy has a wonderful flavor. It is very simple. You just dump it all in the crockpot and 9 hours later you have a wonderful main dish. I will make this again and again. I would recommend to everyone who likes roast to try this! Thanks for the great recipe!

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2004
This recipe is excellent! I made it last night, I actually used about 1 1/2 lbs of hamburger because that is what I had and penne pasta because the store didn't have ziti but this was awesome. I will make it again and plan to bring it to my next carry in at work. Thanks for sharing!

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

Reviewed: May 6, 2006
I loved this recipe, have made it 2 or 3 times in the last month. I have used beef broth and vegetable broth (on different occassions), added minced garlic, upped the coffee to 1 cup (we love coffee), added 1 tblsp of liquid smoke, and used the cut of meat from the recipe, there are bits of fat but I like it with a little pork fat. After shredding the meat I poured about half a cup of the juices along with the meat back into the crockpot and then added the barbeque sauce, I used kc masterpiece and sweet baby rays on different occasions, back in the crockpot for 1/2 hour, just delicious! Oh and I cook it on low for 8 hours.

This was great as I expected it to be. I scaled it to two servings and baked for 25 minutes in two ramekins. This was so good I ate both servings for myself :-)

Very good, made exactly as described. I really loved the flavor of the onions, think next time I will add a bit more onions, hubby said this was a definite keeper.

Chili I

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2006
I made this chili recipe exactly as described, hadn't bothered to read the reviews prior though. I was a bit concerned about the 1/2 cup of brown sugar but thought with all the other flavors it would mellow out the sugar. Although this was very good, a bit too sweet for my taste. I will make this again but perhaps only using 1/4 or maybe even no brown sugar. I really enjoyed the taste of the steak, hadn't made chili before with anything other than ground beef but the steak was awesome. Next time I will probably add more steak too.

Cream Cheese Mints

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2006
This was very good. I used 8 oz cream cheese, 2lb box of powdered sugar, 1/8 tsp peppermint extract (next time will probably us 1/4 tsp) and 2.5 tbls margarine, dumped in the kitchen aid mixer and 30 seconds later it was ready for food coloring-making these for a baby shower. As others have said didn't yeild as much as the recipe states, ended up with about 14-16 dozen mints and I did the recipe at 2.5 times the normal ingredients.

Penne with Chicken and Asparagus

Very good, light meal. I added just a bit more chicken broth and probably twice the parm cheese. Don't skimp on the garlic this really gives the dish a nice flavor.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

I was looking for a corn casserole recipe when I stumbled upon this one. It was very easy to make and had a pleasant taste. I would make this again but perhaps with a little less sour cream.

Cheese and Broccoli Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2006
Very good, made the recipe the same with the exception of adding an extra bunch of brocolli, 1 more cup of water, and one more chicken cube. Very tasty this way but I believe it would be better with the addition of onions and garlic as others have suggested.
