I loved this recipe, have made it 2 or 3 times in the last month. I have used beef broth and vegetable broth (on different occassions), added minced garlic, upped the coffee to 1 cup (we love coffee), added 1 tblsp of liquid smoke, and used the cut of meat from the recipe, there are bits of fat but I like it with a little pork fat. After shredding the meat I poured about half a cup of the juices along with the meat back into the crockpot and then added the barbeque sauce, I used kc masterpiece and sweet baby rays on different occasions, back in the crockpot for 1/2 hour, just delicious! Oh and I cook it on low for 8 hours.
