Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
My very picky daughters loved this! I did not have fresh bread crumbs. I used crushed garlic butter croutons instead. I also simply added garlic powder to the melted butter. The breast were juicy yet crispy I think it is because I used frozen breast. Thank you for this very easy quick recipie! Will use again!

Velvety Pumpkin Soup With Blue Cheese and Bacon

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
This is yummy! It is not something that my family would normally try. However it was a hit. Half and half can be purchased in your local grocery in America. You will find it in the dairy section. It is packaged in milk cartons. I hope that helps. I assume everyone on this sight resides in the US.

Billy's Favorite Smoky Collard Greens

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2007
GREENS ARE TO BE PICKED OR CUT OFF THE STEM. WASHED VERY CLEAN (EVEN WHEN PURCHASED PRE- CLEANED). PUT IN A POT WITH ONIONS, SEASONINGS, A GOOD SMOKED PIECE OF MEAT SUCH AS HAM OR HAM HOCKS, SUGAR IF COOKING COLLARDS TO CUT THE BITTERNESS, AND COOKED SLOW ON A FLAME FOR AT LEAST 3 HOURS REPLACING THE WATER AS IT BOILS DOWN. AFTER THE GREENS ARE COOKED THEY ARE TO BE ABLE TO SIT REFRIDGERATED OVERNITE AND REHEATED WHEN READY TO BE SERVED. THIS PROCESS ALOWS FOR THE FLAVORS TO HAVE SET IN JUST LIKE YOU WOULD WITH A GOOD CHILI, POT OF WHITE BEANS OR SOUP. THAT IS THE BASIC WAY THAT MOST AFRICAN AMERICANS COOK GREENS. BELIEVE YOU ME NO ONE IS GONNA WANT TO THROW THEM OUT COOKED THIS WAY! NO, THEY ARE NOT FAT FREE BUT IF YOU DRAIN THEM BEFORE SERVING YOU GET THE FULL FLAVOR OF THE DISH AND NOTHING MORE. THEY ARE HEALTHIER THAN ANY CARB YOU WOULD SERVE WITH THEM. LIUID SMOKE MAKES FOOD LESS AUTHENTIC.

Banana Bread IV

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2006
This recipe is great! It is easy to prep. It was my first time making Banana Bread. The bread turned out fabulous! My family quickly gobbled it away. I only used 2 cups of white sugar.I used butter instead of shortening. I coated the pans with butter, brown sugar, and walnuts. I placed on top of the batter walnuts & brown sugar. I had to be careful to cook the loaf exactly @ 300 as the recipe directed. The first loaf I cooked too fast at 350 resulting in an uneven texture. The second loaf at 300 was perfect! I will use this recipe from now on. Thanks!
