Very good. Everyone liked the stew. The red wine did a good job of flavoring the whole dish. Of course, pick a wine you really like and remember, if you wouldn't drink it, you shouldn't cook with it. There is no such thing as a cheap cooking wine. I used a Chateau St Jean Merlot. Also check… MORE

Memorial Day holds many meanings; honoring and remembering those who've passed on, barbecuing, swimming, "Summer," etc. It's the official turning point for many to say "It's summer now!"
