I dont know about you but, when my family gets together it can get a bit hectic! Sometimes Im happy to be the one cooking because it means I can sneak into the kitchen whenever I need a breather... The only time we are all quiet at once it when our mouths are full of good food! MORE

This weekend's recipe on my website www.cjsrecipe.com is for potatoes cooked on the grill. I adapted it from the Nancy Drew Cookbook, written in 1973. The recipes are typical of that decade and make liberal use of stick margarine. They have references to the mystery books in the recipe titles… MORE

The strawberries this season have been wonderful. I usually eat them plain or with plain yougurt. They have been at such a great price I've been making many dishes with them. Friday's recipe of the day on my website is for a berry sauce that goes well with grilled chicken (turkey) or pork.… MORE
