This is a first world rant. I know, I know; some people would be happy to have these issues. This is simply a tired mom complaining so look down, below your feet, if you see a soap box, don't keep reading. Go save a tree. :-) I could blame my husband. I guess if I stretch I could blame the… MORE

At my appointment with Dr. Ch, we discussed my options.  He told me, to go with radiation and chemo to destroy the tumor would be much harder on both my body and me,  and the side affects could stay sometimes forever, but the surgery followed by the radiation I would stand a chance of it… MORE

I have been looking forward to this weekend for some time.  Our son, Steve, was coming home! He was flying in from South Dakota on Saturday morning and would be here for only a very short time. He would then be leaving on Sunday afternoon to drive back with his girlfriend who was moving from… MORE

In May I returned  to the radiation oncologist for my 6 week checkup. Dr. K was in Hong Kong, so I saw another doctor in the group. I had never seen him before, but that was fine. I was feeling really good for the past few weeks, I was able to get out and walk, and my hair was growing back. I… MORE

The new year found me feeling really good about everything. I had continued eating healthy over the holidays and although I didn't get to exercise as much as I had been, I did get in leg lifts and walk in place everyday.  It was nowhere near the 30 minutes I should be getting, but I felt it… MORE
