I think you have one egg too many. Second pie ran over my crust and I cleaned every bowl, beater, scraper, and spoon before reuse. Three eggs.

I have a larger pie dish so I make the recipe 1 1/2 times to make a really nice thick pie. It is the best I have ever had. Also add a bit of vanilla extract. Yum!!!

April 2, 2012 - have always wanted to bake this pie - get already baked at local bakery. I would like to print this recipe for my use. Seems to be easy and delicious!

Chocolate Pecan Pie from Video 4 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 cup of dark corn syrup mix together with flat beater on speed 6 for one minute stop scrape the bowl turn to speed #4 gradually add 3 squeares 0f unsweetened chocolate (melted) beat for 1 minute until well blended reduce the speed to stir add 2 cups of pecan halves pour into an unbaked pie shell at 350 for 35 to 45 min or until its slightly soft in the center serve with a dollop of whip cream :D

And is it correct that there is no butter in this pie? That makes it even a little bit healthy, right? ;-)

Would have been nice to have a written copy of the recipe. I always add a couple tablespoons of Woodford Reserve to any pecan pie.
