Twice-roasted peanuts are ground into a delicious sweet and spicy sauce spiked with hot chili oil and fresh lime juice that's delicious with spring rolls, slathered onto grilled chicken, stirred into cooked noodles, or just eaten as a dip with chips. 

Pot Stickers (Chinese Dumplings)

Fat little Chinese stuffed dumplings, filled with a savory beef and shrimp filling, are browned in a skillet, then steamed until hot and tender. This recipe makes a lot of filling, good for having plenty of pot stickers to freeze and have any time. 

Japanese Country-Style Miso and Tofu (Hiya Shiru)

An intensely savory sauce made from miso and flavored with tiny Japanese dried fish is made with tender cubes of silken tofu and crunchy raw green onions. It's served hot over cooked white rice.

Miso Soup

You can use yellow, white, or red miso paste for the soup, depending on your preference. You will also need dashi, which is made of dried kelp (seaweed) and dried bonito (fish), and can be purchased in granules or powder form in conveniently-sized jars. 

Easy Baklava

It might take awhile to learn how to make a perfect roll, but you'll have fun trying! Add wasabi (Japanese horseradish) for a good kick!
