I make this tasty butter during the growing season and freeze it for later use. This allows my family and me to enjoy the flavor of fresh basil all year long. I use it to enhance cooked vegetables, chicken and fish. No one seems to miss the salt that I deliberately leave out.

Fat-free mayonnaise mixed only with pickle relish seemed so tasteless, so I began experimenting and came up with my own recipe for tartar sauce. It adds lots of flavor to fish, but a few calories. --Kristen Flaherty of South Portland, Maine

This is cocktail sauce with a kick. You have to like wasabi to enjoy this. We really make this with double the wasabi, but thought it might be too much for some people. Start with a little and add until you get the flavor you like. If you add too much just increase the ketchup.

This recipe is very similar to a tartar sauce used at a famous South Texas seafood restaurant. An important part of this recipe is to ensure that all ingredients have been finely minced together. Hope you enjoy.

Simple tartar sauce for deep fried seafood. It is better if prepared several hours before you will be using it, but it can be used immediately. Store for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.

This is a great cocktail sauce recipe straight from the heart of the Rockies (Aspen, Colorado), via Cape Cod. The tequila gives it a good kick! This recipe yields a large amount, you may want to half or quarter it.

A very easy, very tasty way to spice up your favorite fish. Wasabi, mayonnaise, mustard, and sour cream make a great accompaniment for tuna, crab cakes, or even shrimp cocktail.
