Start with great steaks and you 're half-way there. The rest of the process is easy. Sprinkle the steaks with salt and lemon pepper, pressing the mixture gently into the meat. Pour on your favorite beer and let sit in the refrigerator for an hour or two before grilling.

Great recipe for grilled steaks that does not require marinating for several hours. Rub the steaks with oil and garlic, salt and pepper to taste, and when the coals are ready, throw the steaks on the grate. Fresh rosemary is placed on top of the meat while grilling.

Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap is Korean for Hot Stone Bowl with Mixed Rice - oh, and vegetables, and meat, and egg. My 'go to' favorite Korean dish, next to haemul pajeon and Bulgogi. I'm a big carnivore so my version has about 25% more meat than the traditional version. Mmmmmm, cow!

A homemade rub, made with cumin and salt and pepper seasons the steak before it goes on the grill, and fresh lime juice and minced fresh garlic are used in the post-grill marinade. Red and yellow peppers are grilled at the same time as the beef. Both the meat and veggies are sliced into strips, and then tossed with salad greens and a simple lime dressing.

This Cuban-style grilled preparation of thinly cut rib eye steaks are amazingly flavorful, with a quick and easy marinade of lime and beer. This cut of meat is sold in most Mexican or Cuban groceries but can also be found or asked for at any butcher. Stir up a pitcher of mojitos and you're ready for a Cuban style vacation in your own backyard.

Actually, this is an excellent marinade for any steak. The marinade mainly consists of Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. The sugar makes the steaks tender and gives just a hint of sweetness. I sometimes add some Dijon mustard or red pepper flakes for a little zing.

If you are looking for a special steak for your sweetie, look no further. This takes less than thirty minutes from start to finish; less if you choose to broil instead of BBQ. Flavorful and easy, this steak is tough to beat. I serve this with brown and serve sourdough bread or rolls. If you're really hungry, crumble some additional bacon and add a baked potato. Add candles and a bottle of full bodied red wine (like a cabernet from the Alexander Valley) for a romantic evening.
