Who would believe that beer would be the perfect solution to eradicating fluorescent green margaritas? Well, it is! Best to use not-so-micro brews to avoid an overpowering flavor. Use the limeade can to measure the ingredients, and adjust with extra water if the mixture seems too sweet. Straining the pulp is always a good idea, unless, of course, you like pulp!

Not really a margarita, but it looks pretty close!!

Flaming Doctor Pepper I

Submitted by: SARAH COOPER
This drink is actually considered a shooter, meaning don't hold back, guzzle it down. Amaretto and 151 proof rum are set on fire and dropped into a glass of beer.

This fiery drink is meant to be slammed down with a few big gulps! 151 proof rum is set aflame over amaretto and doused with beer. It tastes like the carbonated beverage with the same name.

Brew your own beer with this extract recipe for an Irish Red Ale. This beer is fermented slowly for a rich flavor, so be patient!

I had to buy Guinness and ice cream on the same day and my weird friend suggested that I try making an ice cream float. The experiment was a success!

Homemade Root Beer

This Root beer is bound to be a hit at any gathering. It is very easy, ice cold and yummy. Use a large insulated drink cooler to brew it in, and everyone can help themselves using the spigot. This is best to do outdoors or place the cooler in the kitchen sink as it brews. Dry ice can be dangerous. Be sure to use gloves when handling. Do not allow children to handle the dry ice.

Similar to a boilermaker. You drop a shot glass full of irish whiskey and irish cream into a glass of stout beer and drink it all at once.

Cherry juice plus beer make a remarkable drink! I used to order it at my favorite bar in Gelnhausen, Germany! If you don't like the taste of beer alone, you will love this drink!

This is a variation of another posted 'Beer Margarita' with a little extra 'oomph.' It's quite delicious.

This recipe may sound a bit odd, but this is the best beer cocktail I have ever had. Very refreshing on a hot summer afternoon. Bet you can't drink just one.

This is a drink that you can order at any bar in France. It's a little sweet and has a pretty color; I don't like beer, but I like this drink. I use about 1/4 teaspoon grenadine, but use less or more depending on how sweet you would like your drink.

Nova Scotia Beer Warmer

It gets cold here in Nova Scotia in the winter and we love our beer, so put a little heat to a cool drink to warm you up for that walk home from the bar.

Pompous Mexican

A cocktail made from Mexican beer, gin and lemon juice. The ingredients complement each other: the beer smooths the gin, and the gin/lemon de-fizzes the beer.
