I invented this recipe when I started running out of smoothie components. I think it tastes like a cross between peaches and cream, and egg nog (there are no eggs in it though). The oats and/or wheat germ can be omitted for a smoother smoothie.

Easy, healthy and delicious. Bircher Meusli is a cold European breakfast cereal that is made the day before and placed in the refrigerator overnight. A variety of fruit such as apples, peaches, dried fruit or fresh berries and nuts can be stirred in just before serving for more flavor.

Use soy. No, use beans. No, use oats. No, use rice. Hey, why not use them all? This veggie burger is an alternative to eating its beefy cousin. It's high in fiber and as a stand alone patty, actually tastes pretty good. Once you layer the ketchup, mustard, pickles, etc. you won't be able to tell the difference.

Whole Wheat Pita Bread

I came up with this recipe after a search for a whole wheat pita bread left me frustrated. I used soy flour to totally eliminate white flour. What resulted was a hearty pita with a nice nutty flavor. It tastes great with sandwich fillings, peanut butter, or dipped in hummus. This is my first recipe, so I hope you enjoy it.
