The dressing in this spinach and strawberry salad is fabulous. It begins with vinegar and olive oil and goes on from there with sugar, bits of onion, Worcestershire, sesame seeds, paprika, and poppy seeds. It 's chilled before serving so all of the flavors mingle nicely.

The dressing is absolutely sensational in this bean salad - so many taste sensations. It begins with oil and vinegar, but then it gets fancy. Let 's see, there 's lemon and lime juice, garlic, cilantro, sugar, cumin, hot sauce and chili powder to taste.

Fajita seasoning makes this salad feisty. The chicken is rubbed with it before grilling, and the wonderful bean/corn/salsa mixture is cooked in a bit of it as well. Add lots of greens, onions and tomatoes, and you have an amazing salad.

A spur-of-the-moment creation when I wanted something with a great flavor punch and lots of color, plus quick to prepare---this one fills the bill, with baby spinach and colorful cranberries and mandarin oranges, plus the crunch of sweetened almonds and the pungent feta cheese---a new favorite at our house! You may substitute blue cheese for the feta and any kind of sweetened pecans or walnuts, if desired, for the almonds.

The salad has cabbage and broccoli and crunchy ramen doodles and a smattering of green onion. The dressing is pungent, and poured over the salad while still warm. Chill before serving.

This is one of our favorite salad recipes. The combination of Romaine lettuce, toasted pecans, and fresh strawberries is unusual, but sooo good.

Fresh fruit is tossed in homemade rhubarb sauce for a delicious, and fruity alternative to regular fruit salad! One day I decided to stir some rhubarb sauce into my fruit salad - and LOVED the result. The rhubarb sauce keeps fruits from turning brown too.

Here's a three-bean salad with fresh veggies tossed in a red wine vinaigrette with herbs and seasonings. Prep time is quick, then chill before serving. With a loaf of crusty bread, this salad is a meal in itself. Instead of sunflower seeds, you can top with slivered almonds or shredded cheese.
