Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Submitted by: MIGHTYPURDUE22
This is the chili recipe the gang eats at Purdue Boilermaker football games. I always prep and cook the chili the night before and then reheat the next day. This is a combination of many different tomato-based chili recipes. Good luck and enjoy.

These crispy shrimp are rolled in a coconut beer batter before frying. For dipping sauce, I use orange marmalade, mustard and horseradish mixed to taste.

Oven BBQ

A great alternative to the outdoor variety! Roasting chicken, slathered in barbeque sauce, is slowly cooked over mesquite chips right in your indoor oven. Try adding a little chili pepper of your choice to the sauce for extra heat, or even another type of meat.

An economical version of an old-favorite sandwich. It is made of rump roast simmered for 7 hours with beef broth, onion soup and beer. The reduced cooking liquid makes plenty of sauce for dipping.

I discovered this tasty St. Patrick's day treat when I attended an Irish Rovers Concert. My family and friend insist that it is a staple at get togethers any time of the year. Roast this Corned Beef slowly at a low setting for a melt in your mouth delight. The aroma is fantastic!

This is an excellent recipe for party sandwiches. I always make 2 (and sometimes 3) briskets because it goes so fast.

I concocted this marinade on a lark and it turned out great. The flavors complement and do not overwhelm the natural taste of beef.

Marinade ingredients also include maple syrup, beer, garlic, dry mustard, and sesame oil. Meat should be marinated for at least an hour. Overnight is better.
