Fanciful and fruity, this pie begins with a chocolate cookie crust and gets more delicious by the layer. What follows are sliced bananas, strawberry ice cream, crushed pineapple, whipped cream and chopped nuts. Once this old-fashioned favorite is out of the freezer and ready to serve, it 's topped with maraschino cherries.

Cookie Ice Cream Pie is fun to make with two already prepared ingredients--ice cream and cookies. Because you use your freezer not your oven, preparing this crunchy, creamy treat on warm days won't heat up your kitchen. Make it ahead and serve without fuss to company or kids.
