Apple Slump

Made on the stovetop, this delicious apple treat is served with a lovely nutmeg sauce. Sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon and water are put in a saucepan and brought to a boil. Then soft dough is dropped onto the hot apples and simmered for 30 minutes.
