Presents from the pantry are a tradition with me-and this crusty coffee 'dunker' is a favorite! Stuffed with fruits and nuts, it freezes well and can be made a month ahead of busy holidays. Dried cranberries can be substituted for cherries.

These are so crunchy they should be dunked (Coffee, Latte, Espresso, Vino, etc.). If you don't have hazelnuts, use almonds instead. 

Nut Butter Balls

Rich and buttery. If you don't have almond extract, you can use 2 teaspoons of vanilla in its place. Any type of nuts can be used in place of the walnuts.

Made with pulverized filberts. While in Germany, my landlord gave me this recipe. I have made it many times, and it is a real treat. Cookies can be stored for several weeks in tightly sealed jars or tins.
