Almond Bark Snacker

Submitted by: Penny
Home Town: Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA

This is a delectable new slant on a no-bake rice-cereal cookie. A friend of mine gave this recipe to me and her mother-in-law gave to her. It melts in your mouth! Use walnuts in place of the pecans for another variation.

Pomanders

Submitted by: Purefusion
Pomanders are one-of-a-kind, no-bake chocolate cookies. This recipe has been handed down from many generations in our family. As a tradition, Grandma has made Pomanders for us nearly every Christmas, but they are great year-round! The longer you let these no bake cookies set the better they taste. So, make them a few weeks before you plan to eat them, hide them from your family and friends, and have patience! Store in tight containers for two to three weeks to let the flavors fully cultivate and intensify. You can eat these right after they're made, but for best taste let them sit at least two weeks.

Slices of white bread are spread with butter and cinnamon sugar, then rolled and sliced into pinwheels, in an easy snack kids can make for themselves.

Buckeye Cookies III

Submitted by: Sally Forsythe
These are like little peanut butter and chocolate balls. You basically mix it all up together. It is a perfect recipe to do at a sleepover or for parties. It is pretty simple and it really doesn't take too long. It takes about as long as chocolate chip cookies do, maybe a little longer, but if you love chocolate and peanut butter, you'll love this.
