Almost every home in our part of the country has a rhubarb patch, so we're always on the lookout for new rhubarb recipes. I've been making this particular recipe for a long time - I discovered it in a cookbook I received when my husband and I were married in 1950. It's one of my favorites.

A lot of rhubarb recipes add a large amount of sugar. This keeps the sweetener to a minimum so you can enjoy the tang of the rhubarb! Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

This luscious concoction is then poured into a prepared pan, sprinkled with cinnamon, and topped with spoonfuls of yummy dough. This cobbler bakes up in a 9x13 inch pan, so it 's perfect for a crowd. And it can be served warm from the oven or at room temperature.

This easy-to-follow recipe makes a lovely 9x13-inch dessert. The fruit is combined with lots of sugar and a smidgen of flour, and then it 's spooned into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Just before popping it into the oven, a buttery, brown sugar and oat crumble is sprinkled on top.
