Easy Fruit Cobbler

For this delicious, simple pie, all you 'll need is a 9x9-inch pan, melted butter, a yummy batter and some sliced, fresh fruit. The batter goes in the pan, the fruit is poured on top of the batter, and the cobbler is baked in the oven for an hour.

The first person I served this for didn't like peach cobbler (unknown to me). He really enjoyed it. I just made it because it sounded yummy and I was dieting. No one will ever guess it's 'lighter' than any other cobbler. I hope you like it. Oh! and it's quick and easy.

Cranberry Glop

My family fights over this great Thanksgiving side dish that was first brought to our table by my Aunt Joan more than ten years ago. It's the only thing I've found that will convert even the most die-hard canned cranberry eater to a fresh berry advocate.

Chunks of rhubarb are sweetened and cooked along with water and cornstarch until hot and bubbly. This luscious concoction is then poured into a prepared pan, sprinkled with cinnamon, and topped with spoonfuls of yummy dough. This cobbler bakes up in a 9x13 inch pan, so it 's perfect for a crowd. And it can be served warm from the oven or at room temperature.
