I am begged for this recipe whenever I serve it. My advice: Invest in a good candy thermometer and always, always, always use good ingredients. Do not use margarine as a substitute for the butter; the water content is too high.

A sweet mixture of coconut, walnuts, sugar, margarine and condensed milk are rolled into little balls and dipped in chocolate to make these decadent frozen treats. 

Brandy or Rum Balls

This is an excellent dessert to bring for the Holidays. You can use either Brandy or Rum. These do need some time to set up so it is best to make them the night before. If you don't care for walnuts, the balls can be rolled in confectioners' sugar or cocoa powder.
