'I truly enjoy recipes that make enough for the two of us, like this one for yummy waffles,' shares Ruth Andrewson of Leavenworth, Washington. 'Instead of blueberries, you can slice ripe strawberries on top-or use the batter to make pancakes.'

Our family enjoys all types of waffles, but these are their favorite. They're softer than traditional waffles and the combination of spices provides a unique flavor. I hope your family enjoys them as much as mine does!

As a special treat for my mother I created this recipe which includes one of her favorite desserts and one of her favorite breakfast items. This creation also goes great with French toast, so make this as a special treat to your mom or any mom. Also a nice way to impress anyone with a special breakfast. I hope you enjoy as much as my mom did.

The great flavor of these waffles is enhanced by the crispness of the cornflakes and by the sweet honey sauce. I like to serve these with fresh fruit and sausages.

This recipe can be used to make pancakes as well as waffles. Both are delicious because of their hearty, whole-grain flavor. For special treat, serve them topped with fruit or a flavored syrup! --Mrs. Francis Stoops Stoneboro, Pennylvania

Brunches are a big hit in our family. They think this recipe makes the best waffles of all and it is easily doubled or tripled. I sprinkle blueberries or pecans on top of the batter for those who want them just before closing the waffle iron --- it's definitely my favorite way to have them. Plus, you can make the batter the night before!
