Honey butter is very good on homemade white bread. I ate and made this many times as a girl. You may also use peanut butter instead of butter. Delicious!

With a hint of apple and cinnamon, this jelly spreads cheer from breads to bagels to muffins. Its rosy pink color looks lovely blushing through the food jars I save and decorate with fabric-covered lids.

This is a favorite in our family at Christmas. The flavor of the sweet strawberries combined with the flavor of the peppers gives this jam a wonderful flavor dimension. This jam is not spicy, but can be made to be spicy by adding more peppers or a few habanero peppers.

There's no added sugar in this jam, so even if you're watching your diet, you can enjoy it on your morning toast,' notes Mary Fenske of Bricelyn, Minnesota. 'There's no need to wait for harvest season to make it either, since the recipe calls for dried apricots. I often give this chunky spread as a gift to my four grown children and 10 grandkids.'
