This has become a neighborhood favorite. A marinade with the great flavors of soy sauce, sesame, garlic and ginger. It's great on fish, particularly salmon, and chicken.

This sauce is full of aromatic, flavorful and sweet ingredients: molasses, allspice, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, orange juice and brown sugar. There are also chili peppers, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar and wine. It's a perfect marinade for fish or meat.

I have tried a lot of recipes of Eastern North Carolina BBQ Sauce. This is the closest to what you will find in any of the BBQ Restaurants here in North Carolina. It is on the hot side, so you may wish to adjust the cayenne pepper and Tabasco™ sauce for milder flavor.
