I made up this mixture on a whim and wow! These are definitely the best hamburgers I've ever had and everyone who's had them says the same. The spices are Indian in origin, but the flavor is deliciously unique!

I call this Dale's Lamb because my late mother-in-law, Dale, gave me this recipe. Everyone who's ever tried this likes it, even my mom, who didn't care much for lamb. Hope you like it, too.

I love making these flavorful lamb burgers stuffed with creamy, delicious goat cheese. I use basil and oregano in mine, but feel free to use your favorite herbs and spices, this recipe is very forgiving. Using fresh rosemary in the meat mixture will give the burgers a real Greek flavor. Serve the burgers on hamburger buns or pita bread with tzatziki sauce, or on their own with a Greek salad.

Avocado teams with typical Greek ingredients to make a delightful sauce/relish for garlic and lemon-marinated lamb. You can also serve the relish with grilled chicken, burgers or fish. Or try spooning it over greens tossed with chopped tomatoes and cubes of feta cheese for a remarkable Greek salad.

These lamb kebabs have 6 different kinds of spices; the first time I smelled them I knew immediately that I had to find the recipe. The most affordable way to purchase the spices is in bulk at either a health food store or an Asian or Middle-Eastern market. They are very good!

Jalapeno peppers are quite abundant in this area of the country, and there are numerous ranches here that raise lambs. People seem to be eating food that's a little hotter nowadays, so I think this recipe will appeal to them.
