Almond Spice Sandwich

"Raisins and sliced almonds are sprinkled over a honey-sweetened and cinnamony almond butter spread in this kid-approved sandwich."

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons sliced almonds
  • 4 tablespoons raisins
  • 8 slices whole-grain bread

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a small bowl, mix together almond butter, honey and cinnamon.
  2. Spread about 2 tablespoons of almond butter mixture evenly over one slice of bread. Sprinkle one tablespoon each sliced almonds and raisins over the almond butter, and top with another slice of bread. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
