Simple and good. This is my go-to sugar cookie recipe for making cookies with my son. I bought a big box of cookie cut-outs and add food coloring and other decorations for my son and I to use when it's cookie-baking time.

These cookies are so bland, they're gonna suck all life out of you one bite at a time. I know they're just good ole plain sugar cookies, but ! - they're dreadful!

NOT THAT GOOD. The texture of the cookies are good but the flavor... NOT THERE. I work professionally in a bakery so I know how to bake and how it should taste. I probably wouldn't make this recipe again, however, if I did I would have to add at least another cup of sugar to this recipe and a tablespoon and a half of vanilla extract.

I could not make sugar cookies for the life of me...... before this recipe!! This was super easy, no fail and yummy!! I borrowed Star War Cutters and they look fabulous :) By using parchment paper, it made even easier to bake and clean up! Will make these 100% for sure again...

This is the best sugar cookie recipe I have ever tried. I used a stand mixer, and it was so easy. It did make a bunch, but that was exactly what I needed.

This is consistently an easy tasty recipe. I always have a hard time rolling this one out though. If I use parchment paper and just pull up the leftover dough I can sometimes get it to work but usually it's just too sticky. However, it works great rolled into little balls and using a jar/glass to make pressed cookies. And they always turn out perfectly crisp yet chewy.

I saw some multi-coloured sugar cookies on pinterest and decided to make them using this recipe. This was so simple and they came out so delicious and CUTE!!! I had to forward the recipe within an hour of trying it. I separated the dough into 5 colours and then like playdough rolled smaller pieces into a rope and then coiled. This is going to be my "mum's best cookies" recipe from now on.
