I''m a newbie cook, so new that in trying the recipes out i usually take twice the amount of time to prepare and cook, and blotch the entire thing 1 out of 3 tries. So i usually try the easy recipes with affordable ingredients (you dont want to use expensive ingredients if you have a good chance of failing, ha!)
Anyways, i cooked this for my boyfriend and he loved it! I loved it! Quoting: "It's really good. Congratulations. It's restaurant level pasta. If you undercook the pasta a little, its Mamu (famous high end restaurant here innthe Philippines that serve great pasta and steak) level pasta. Im proud of you."
In the original recipe, Parmesan was used instead of cheddar but we like the cheddar more coz its saltier. And 1 teaspoon garlic powder was recommnded but since i didnt have garlic powder, i used real garlic instead.
So for future use (definitely!), i'll stick to cheddar and undercook the pasta a little. And i agree, the cream cheese really is the magic ingredient!!
