This is my new go-to cookie recipe. I often use this recipe for just making chocolate chip cookies and omit all the other fillers. Crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle. Love me some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies!!!

I made these last night with a few changes. I didn't pack the brown sugar. Instead I scooped it out and leveled it. I only used 2/3 cup each of peanut butter, vanilla, and milk chocolate chips. I don't like butterscotch or semisweet chocolate chips. The mix was so thick that it was dragging my Kitchen Aid down so I added 1/4 cup water. That was to much. I wound up with very flat cookies that are delicious. If I need water the next time I will add it by tablespoons until it is right. The reduction in the ammount of brown sugar and chips made them lightly sweet instead of sickenly sweet. These would be very good cookies with only one type of chip or no nuts in them.

My family loved these cookies. My husband and son thought they were amazing. I reduced the brown sugar to 1 1/2 cups, omitted the vanilla chips (didn't have any) and increased the butterscotch chips just a little. I thought that they were still a little too sweet for me. I would reduce the sugar to 1 cup next time and still omit the vanilla chips but leave the butterscotch to the suggested amount. I gave them 4 stars because of the sweetness ... my husband would probably give them 25 stars!! He absolutely loved them and couldn't keep his fingers out of the container ... they disappeared very quickly!

I was excited to make these but was a little disapointed with the outcome. They were just O.K. as far as taste. A little too dry.

I just made these cookies, though 1/2 the recipe. It made 34 cookies. They were wonderful! I followed the recipe as is, added some cinnamon, and baked for 9 minutes. My family loved them!

These are SOOOO GOOD! I only changed one thing in this recipe and that was to add a full cup of butterscotch chips instead of the 1/2 cup, because they are my favorite. Everybody that tried these loved them. I hope I have enough left to send to my daughter in college. After all... that is what I made them for.

I didn't care for them - very dry with too much of a brown sugar taste for me.
