Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 3)

I've made these several times and they always come out great! I do end up baking them about twice as long (20 min each side) as is suggested in the original recipie. I also tried turing the oven up to 400 which seemed to make 15 min per side work too. Overall very tasty, and even enjoyed by non-vegetarians!

I love black beans! I'm definitely making this tonight for dinner! I think I'll add roasted corn and maybe use red bell pepper instead. Some pepperjack cheese on top would also taste great!!

Tasty and easy! A million times better than many store bought veggie burgers. I added salt and pepper and sriracha but otherwise stuck to the recipe as is. They held together ok on my cookie sheet, but I think they might be tricky on a grill.

So good! I was hungry for a good burger and very satisfied! Sprayed lightly with cooking spray and cooked it on George Foreman grill for 10 minutes, nicely done! Yum

These were great and my family is in no way vegetarians. They were really thick when you make 4 burgers. I would recommend 5 or 6 patties from the recipe. Try them you wont be disappointed

Great flavor, I didn't even miss the meat! I used 1/2 green pepper & 1/2 red pepper and left out the hot sauce because I didn't have any. I also didn't have any bread crumbs, so I finely ground up 1 cup of old-fashioned oats. After forming the burgers, I placed them in the freezer a few hours before cooking them. They held together perfectly and were absolutely delicious! I will definitely be making these again!

Yum! Turned out delicious! I didn't have enough bread crumbs, so used some oats instead, and also didn't have green pepper so added extra onion instead. I think that was a big mistake. Next time I make these, I will follow the recipe as is, and possibly add some extra egg and maybe shredded cheese for moisture since it seemed a bit dry. All in all great though, and my kids loved it!

These were very good. They had excellent flavor. I added extra bread and made sure to dry the veggies after they were in the processor so the burgers stayed together perfectly. I ate mine with cheese and a dollop of sour cream on top.

This recipe was amazing - I will never buy a frozen veggie burger again (even my carnivorous husband loved them)! I thought the burgers were a little bigger than needed, so I made about 5 patties from mine. I loved them as is, but my husband baked and then fried his (to get it crispier throughout) and really enjoyed it.
