My husband accidentally left his share of pancakes on the counter this morning. He begged me to bring it to his office. Unfortunately, my children cited Eating Rule #1 in our house: Eat before it gets eaten. They were no more. This recipe is just that good.

Despite the batter smelling funny due to the vinegar, it cooks out. I had to use apple cider vinegar since that was all I had on hand. These pancakes are nice and fluffy, and no rubberyness to them like I tend to get with pancakes. I had set my griddle for 325 and cooked for 3 min, flipped over, then 2.I also added a bit of vanilla extract.

Made exactly as instructed and they turned out fabulously. They're not the pretty thin pancakes you get in a restaurant - they're thick, fluffy, and really delicious. I'm glad I resisted the temptation to thin down the batter.

I have found the last pancake recipe that I will ever use. I promise to never use another. I've tried so many different variations and haven't loved any of them, so we've been relying on Aunt Jemima for the longest time. Well, Auntie can go live at someone else's house now. I don't need her anymore. I didn't change a thing on this recipe, made it exactly as written. They are the perfect pancake!

These are so good I had to make them 2 days in a row. I doubt I'll ever make pancakes from a different recipe again. I did have a few minor alterations: I added an extra tablespoon of sugar and a tsp of vanilla. Today I accidentally forgot the butter and didn't realize it until we had already eaten. Strangely, we thought they were better today than we did yesterday, so if you're looking to cut out some fat, skip the butter. It really didn't make a noticeable difference, and it was honestly just as good.

loved them! I did add a little vanilla as well as washed blueberries tossed in flour. And don't over stir!

My family enjoyed these pancakes, especially how fluffy they were (hence their name). The were easy to make, used normal ingredients I had in my pantry, and had a nice flavor. I doubled the recipe and made half on Saturday and the rest on Sunday. I added some pumpkin pie spice on Sunday and they were even better! However, I really like the Aunt Jemima pancake mix that you add milk, oil, and eggs to, so when I'm crunched for time, I'll stick with Aunt Jemima.

Simple and easy as pancakes should be. Loved by all. I doubled the recipe exactly as written and I got 12 4-5 inch diameter pancakes.

I used 1 1/2 tbls of vinegar and that was the only change. These turned out wonderful! They were actually very fluffly! This recipe will be used all the time!

I did it! I made fluffy and oh so delicious pancakes!! The first time I made these they weren't so fluffy, and I think it was a combination of me doubling the recipe and over stirring. Tried again, not doubling and just stirred till flour mixture was incorporated. Wow!!! My daughter was in heaven. The batter is supposed to be thick, so don't let that scare you. It made 8 medium size pancakes, so if you're feeding more than 2 or 3 people you will have to double. Now I make these every Sunday...something to look forward to!
