this was SO easy, it was ridiculous! didn't have the dried minced garlic, so i used what i had on hand...regular minced garlic from the jar (about two teaspoons). Also, I added about a teaspoon of sugar to cut the tartness of the canned sauce/paste.

This is a pretty excellent pizza sauce for as easy as it is. It's a winner hands down. Of course I jazzed it up a bit, but who doesn't like to use their imagination. I liked using San Marzano tomatoes. Thanks for the solid recipe!

Very good, but modified accdg to cindy18lou. In place of all spices, used 1/2 t garlic powder, 2 t dried basil, 1/2 t sugar, 1/2 t onion powder, 2 t dried oregano. Whisked it up & put it in a large mason jar so I could shake it up a couple times to get the flavors to mix while chilling it for about an hour. Served w/ calzones - will use again, thanks for sharing the recipe!

Love this sauce - will never buy jar sauce again! I put it in small containers and freeze them. So convenient to pull out when my 1st grader wants to make her own pizza.

To ease the acidic taste of this tomato based sauce, I recommend adding more oregano, some basil, and a little sugar and baking soda.

A good quick and easy sauce. The only change I made was to add some chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cut back a little on the seasonings. Worked out very well on the grilled pizzas.
