Make this for the first time and loved it. I have been looking for a real cream cheese icing and now I have found it. We like the tangy taste of the cream cheese this is why it is called cream cheese icing. I did take the advise of some of the comments and creamed the sugar and butter first and then added the cream cheese and it came out smooth. Will make this again.

I liked it but it tasted like cream cheese. It's too runny even when I refrigerated for 18 hours. I added another cup of sugar and it tasted great but was still wayyy too runny. It goes very amazingly with red velvet cake.

Delicious. This frosting was perfect on chocolate cupcakes, and a carrot cake. I used less cream cheese, about 11 ounces, and used half a teaspoon more vanilla. It was so delicious, I had to stop myself from eating the bowlful before putting it on the cake!

This is the best cream cheese frosting I've ever tasted. Easy to make and I've had many friends and co-workers ask for the recipe when I have used it on a variety of cakes/cupcakes. Thank you!

This is SO easy to make, and it tastes so much better than store bought. I didn't realize that store bought had TRANS FAT in it!!!!!!!!!!! YUCK! I am so happy I decided to make this for my 4 year olds birthday cake. I actually used the light cream cheese, but you'd never know it! It was great. Thanks for sharing.

Very Yummy. I didn't have two packages of cream cheese, so I had to make a half recipe. I'm putting it on Sam's Famous Carrot Cake, and I can't wait to try them together. So far, I've been trying to keep myself from eating all the frosting before the cake is cool enough to frost!
