Good recipe. I used the advice of another and lightly oiled the pan and it worked great. I also didn't have time for them to chill, so I put them I n the freezer for 5 minutes then spooned them onto the sheet, and sprinkled the powder sugar on. Worked out well.

The batter was looking a bit dry so I added a couple dashes of milk. The batter then turned cake like which made it impossible to form into balls. So when they we finished they looked nothing like the picture. I expected them to be incredibly moist but they were still dry! They also had a bland taste.

This cookie is enough to satisfy any chocolate craving. Followed the recipe as is but didn't level the cocoa in the measuring cup, so maybe added about 1/8 of a cup more than recipe calls for. Froze dough for about an hour and put it back in the freezer after filling up a cookie sheet. Used a scoop to scoop the dough into the confectioners surge which was a time saver and kept my hands pretty clean. Had to bake the cookies for 15 minutes. The first batch I put in for 12 and they were raw in the middle, had to toss them. The ones baked for 15 minutes were a keeper. Can't wait to make this recipe again.

I don't normally write reviews here, but this was an exception. Made these for the first time and they came out perfectly. I halved the recipe since I wasn't sure if my family would like them. Even then, I didn't have but 3/4 white sugar so I made up the 1 C of white sugar by adding 1/4 c brown sugar. These cookies are amazing. My husband just announced this is the very best cookie I have ever made. Thank you Ingrid!
