This was very tasty but definitely needed to cut down on the fat content. Used 2 tbsp coconut oil to saute the chicken then when all was done and simmering, added in a 1/2 tbsp butter to cream it up a bit. The coconut oil added great flavor.

This and a garlic bread recipe are the only recipes I considered reviewing because I love them so much. I enjoy many wine-based dishes, however, so that could contribute to my affinity to this chicken marsala. I always try to follow recipes to the T the first time because I only think it's fair to do so, and the chicken marsala came out splendid! The only thing I changed was the fat content: 3 tbs butter +1 tbs oil. I am very glad I did because it tasted fantastic while being lower in fat, despite the sauce content being less then it otherwise wouldn't have been. So yea, I don't know how anyone could dislike this recipe, and it definitely deserves all the high reviews it has garnered. Will cook again and again!

I made a couple of changes, I added twice as many mushrooms, and after I cooked the chicken and mushrooms,I removed some of the oil (about 2 tablespoons) before adding the wines. It was ready in less than 30 minutes, and it tastes like an elegant expensive dish!!! I will be making it often!!

This was totaly delicious. We'll definitely make it again. It didn't take that long either. I halved the chicken breasts to make them thinner before pounding them making the browning time shorter.

I made a similar dish without using the cream (it was supposed to be heart healthy)and there wasn't enough sauce. We love the flavor! I used Moscato wine and it was sweet but not as good as Marsala. Realize too, that the alcohol burns off as it's cooked. I recommend this recipe heartily!
