These were absolutely without a dought the most amazing cookies EVER! The only thing is they tasted like shortbread cookies and not sugar cookies.

When I baked these, they literally spilled over each other into a solid, liquidlike mass and spilled over the edge of the baking sheet. Judging by the other reviews, however, I must have done something wrong? I'm not sure - I followed the recipe exactly (other than substituting butter for margarine, but that's never made a difference in the cooking I've done so far). Any suggestions?

Best cookie I ever made. It was so easy and came out yummy! My kids loved them! I was a little worried because the dough came out more like batter and was really runny. But I think that was my fault because I creamed the sugar and butter too long! I will defintly keep this recipe for later use! Thank you!

I did it almost exactly as the recipe reads, except I added one extra cup of flour per other reviews. It turned out amazing!

I must have done something wrong. My batter is the consistency of a thick cake mix. I double checked the ingredients and amounts and they are right. Any ideas?

These TASTE delicious. I'm giving them a 4 because had I not added 1/4 cup of flour (3 cups total) they definitely would have been too thin. As others suggested, refrigerate the dough first to help them not get to flat. OH, and I used real butter, of course! :) I would make them again.

Good flavor but they were not chewy! I did not over cook them. I baked them till they were barely tan on the bottom. However, they were crunchy. will not bake again.

AWESOME!! Made as directed. I just had to bake them longer then called for in the recipe. Thanks for sharing. This is a keeper. You can make these cookies thick and chewy by placing them closer together. They come out kinda square because the come together while baking,but yummy. Just cut along the lines to separate the cookies.If you bake them far a part and kinda flatten them they come out thin and crisp.
